IV. Superintendent’s
Report:
*Financial
Report: Mrs. Plourde reported on the tuition students in question at
last school board meeting. One of the students is ˝ Gorham and ˝ Errol;
the
other student is not a resident of
Errol and was taken out of the budget.
The
projected fund balance at this time
is $45,849.00.
Mrs. Plourde handed out the SAU
budget. This was reviewed with the
school
board members. Mrs. Plourde pointed out an additional 15
hours in support staff
for the SAU office. This change was due to the excessive
increase in special
education students, which led to an
increase in the workload. The business administrator reminded the school
board of the upcoming SAU budget hearing on
Thursday, December 04, 2003, at 7:00 p.m., at the Milan Village School. Mrs. Plourde
informed the school board that the next
SAU meeting for the superintendent
search will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2003.
*Budget
Work Session - Schedule
It was decided to mail the Errol
budgets as this would allow the school board
members time to review them before the December meeting.
V. Principal’s Report:
Mrs. Urso reported on vandalism to the
school on Halloween night. The Principal reviewed what had
happened. The state police had been
contacted, however, no police report
has been received as of yet. Mrs.
Urso informed the school board that
the students had been told how
disappointed the teachers and community felt with this
type of
behavior.
Mrs. Plourde asked that a copy of
the police report be sent to the

staff and
students.
It was also mentioned that the
monthly drawing for the family steak dinner paid

Colebrook Bank. A discussion was held on what
requirements are listed in the other scholarships. Mrs. Plourde offered to look
