I. Call to Order

Joane Belleau called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m.

II. Approval of December 15, 2004 Minutes

Motion by Mariann Letarte seconded by Joane Belleau.

Motion: To accept the minutes of December 15, 2004.

Vote: All Dummer members voted in favor. Motion passed.

III. Communications-AREA Agreement Review for Final Approval

Copies of draft #3, dated January 5, 2005, of the AREA agreement between Milan and Dummer were passed out by Jacqueline Quintal who said that she and Joane Belleau had met earlier this month and incorporated the draft #3 changes. The new changes were discussed as listed below:

_ In paragraphs C. & D., SPED was added for pre-K and K students

_ A new paragraph.E. was added stating that:

“Milan may charge an annual rental fee per pupil. This is an additional payment

included in tuition which represents a fair charge for building occupancy. It may

also include a fair charge for any debt service and reduction of principal, which may become due between the date of bond issue and date of building occupancy.”

Motion by Patricia Shute, seconded by Mariann Letarte.

Motion: To accept the amended AREA agreement dated January 5, 2005 between Milan and Dummer.

Vote: All members of Milan and Dummer voted in favor. Motion passed.

III. Other

Pauline Plourde read the proposed Article V for the Dummer School Warrant which adds the Dummer-Milan AREA agreement. Article VI had a typo and will be changed to read “Dummer” instead of “Milan”.

Dummer School Board Meeting February 14, 2005 at 7 p.m. at Dummer Town Hall

Motion by Mariann Letarte, seconded by Joane Belleau.

Motion: To adjourn.

Vote: All members voted in favor. Motion passed.
