III. Communications:
Joane Belleau mentioned that she had
previously requested a copy of the RSA pertaining to non- public
sessions, however, this information has still not been received. Mrs. Plourde
stated that she would look into getting this information to Mrs. Belleau.
It was noted that both Milan and
Dummer meetings were posted for 6:30 p.m.
The
school board members felt that this
might have caused a problem in case the public
wanted to attend both meetings.
Mrs. Belleau showed a certificate of
membership the Dummer School Board had
received from the New Hampshire
School Board Association.
Mrs. Belleau mentioned that she would like to paint and set up the old
library
in the town hall as a meeting place
for the Dummer School Board. Mrs.
Plourde
reminded Mrs. Belleau that there was
money in the budget for supplies.
It was noted that the minutes from
last meeting were only received on Saturday,
which, does not give the board
members much time to review them.
IV. Superintendent’s
Report:
*Financial
Report: Mrs. Plourde handed out the financial report for the period ending
September 30, 2003. The business administrator noted that the

Mrs. Plourde reported that she checked
on the RSA pertaining to the requirements of
a school district treasurer. The business administrator pointed out that
the treasurer
must be a resident of the district
and cannot be a school board member. A
discussion
was held on people who might be
interested in this position.
Mrs. Belleau stated that Katie
Kelley contacted her regarding the superintendent search.
Mrs. Kelley wanted to know if any of
the Dummer school board members would be
interested in becoming a member of the search committee. The meeting dates and interview dates involved were discussed.

VI. Other: The
school board members asked when a joint meeting with Milan and Berlin
